Procurement Strategy & update for Real Life Options

2020 will certainly go down as a year to remember or rather forget!

It was certainly a baptism of fire for I-Tel’s integration with Real Life Options but one that bore new relationships and a solid platform to continue our journey.

Here’s a quick update from the I-Tel Group on the current developments and our strategy for Real Life Options in the coming months.

Your dedicated stock holding of essential PPE Items is in place

The coronavirus pandemic put a huge strain on the sourcing and supply of PPE across the country. However we are pleased to announce that we have recently secured a dedicated stock holding of essential PPE items for Real-Life Options to guarantee access to stocks over the winter period.

The stock holding is both fully vetted and competitively priced; moreover it protects the group from any shortages, price increases and from the risk of inferior/illegitimate products or companies.

I-Tel, your purchasing department

When we first started working with Real Life Options in February, the intention was for us to act as your purchasing department. The coronavirus pandemic meant that those plans were put on hold while we prioritised sourcing and supplying PPE for your sites. Now that your PPE is taken care of, we’re pleased to announce that we’re picking up where we left off.

What this means is that we’ll manage the entire buying process for you – you simply have to select the items you want from our portal. We then source, supply and process the order for you. We check and compare prices, availability and arrange delivery. We also take care of all the admin, meaning everything you need is in one place.

This approach gives you tremendous flexibility. Our website contains millions of products itelsupplies.co.uk across every category you can think of, including care products, office supplies and tech, as well as PPE, food and catering supplies.

Of course, this doesn’t mean you have to cut ties with existing suppliers or change the products you use. If you have preferred suppliers, items or competitive pricing agreements, then please let us know and we can incorporate this into the system for you.

Buying made simpler and smarter

Our aim is to make your buying process simpler, quicker and more cost effective. The way we do that is through data. Every time you buy through our system, we record every detail of the purchase – cost, supplier, quantity and more.

Over time, we’re able to build an extremely accurate picture of how Real Life Options buys the items it needs. This allows us to make recommendations, help you to improve buying decisions and ultimately reduce the amount of time and money spent on buying goods.

The resulting cost savings we generate through single-source supply benefits the entire organisation and continues to support the core activities of your service.
